Happy Holidays my friends! I am over the moon about sharing the first of my seasonal looks on thefashionfuse.com. Today I am showing you how to achieve a casual glam holiday look! I chose to dress this sequin dress down to give you more of a laid back, fancy vibe. Isn’t the juxtaposition of the sparkle and dramatic lips fun with the casual turtleneck and Vince Cardigan? I think some of the most interesting outfits are the less obvious ones.

I found this purple/silver sequin dress on the clearance rack at forever21. Seriously, I just walked by and thought, “I have an idea for that piece” and $10.00 later here it is! During the same trip to Forever21 I also found these chunky platform sandals (these Forever21 cutout booties will do) on sale. I think my total for the two was only $20.00 or something. Here is where the magic happens when discount shopping….pair it with something high quality (like this tan Vince cardigan) and it elevates the entire look.

The holidays are an especially fun time to try bold lipsticks. Lately I have been wearing a lot of different shades from my Dior rouge lipstick collection. This Dior lipstick in Rouge Zinna #743 is a great seasonal color for whatever your event may be.

Lastly, I chose to accessorize with my Cluse La Boheme (seen here) gold leather strap watch. The black and gold are glamorous together and add that sense of flash, while the classic design keeps it timeless.

You can do different variations of this look, but be sure to give it that one piece that keeps it elevated. I hope to see your casual glam holiday look as well!
