Happy almost summer friends! The birdies are signing and my allergies are in full swing! Today I am sharing a Hamptons holiday style guide. Obviously these beautiful pieces can be worn to any summer holiday destination….even if that means your own back yard.
Although my husband and I go to NYC on a regular basis, we have only done the Hamptons one time together. Usually we go to NYC for business and then back to the kiddos. Two summers ago we decided to extend a business trip and spend the weekend like a local in Southhampton. The atmosphere is happy, sunny, lazy and chic with plenty of charming restaurants and shops. It’s a magical little place. Getting to and from however, can be a total pain.
If you have the means I recommend using a service like Blade. Blade is like Uber, but for helicopters. If you drive, make sure to do a bit of research regarding the best times to come and go. Otherwise, you can end up in four hours of traffic for what usually tends to be a two hour trip. You can also go via bus or train.
Right now (and always) I am completely in love with Zimmermann. I just got back from Australia and because the american dollar is quite strong there, I am kicking myself for not buying more from the Australian designer boutique. Their unique swimwear and flowing dresses are the perfect balance of sophistication and femininity. Zimmermann’s pieces are worth investing in because you’ll want to wear them over and over.
Thanks for letting me share my Hamptons Holiday Style Guide! Have a great week! xo
