Wow, it’s been a long time. To be honest I wasn’t sure If I was going to go back to actual blogging after baby. As most of you know, I had a sweet baby boy named Hart five months ago today.
As much as I love being a mother, I was itching to create again. A friend that my husband and I had over for dinner the other night mentioned “if you don’t fulfill that need to create, it can die on the vine.” Her words really spoke to me. We just love her! MJ is quite a bit older than I am, but with age comes this incredible depth and wisdom that I admire so much. It’s truly why I am not afraid to grow old. Believe it or not I actually look forward to it. Your mind gets so much better.
Frankly, going back to sharing fashion and lifestyle from this platform is as much for my own inspiration and it is for yours. I hope that doesn’t sounds selfish?? Actually, I don’t really care if it does! It’s the truth!
So in true postpartum fashion, I am talking about how to dress up your Lululemon joggers. Ha! Clearly there are some things I am not quite ready to let go of yet! Catwalk on the top, four am feedings on the bottom.
When it comes to dressing up joggers, I would say forget most of the “rules” and abide by just one…make sure they’re not too shabby. Put on your most flattering pair and play around until it feels rights. When I received this sheer pink polka dot top, I never anticipated paring it with joggers, but I think it worked out quite well.
I rounded out this unexpected duo with a pair of Burgundy Dior boots that unfortunately sold out as fast as they hit the shelves. Luckily, I found a similar pair of burgundy lace up booties with an awesome heel.
Berets remind me of my grandmother and therefore hold a special place in my heart. They are as timeless as grandma Georgia and will elevate any closet they call home. I found a solid affordable black beret option for you all!
I hope this how to dress up your Lululemon joggers post was mutually beneficial.
As always, thanks for stopping by.
