Over the holiday, I enjoyed a whirlwind long weekend in NYC. I have been so fortunate to get to travel to the city for business and pleasure on a regular basis. I’m a HUGE believer in working hard and playing hard….which was precisely what I did on this getaway! Lucky for me, one of my best friends lives there too! Because of all of these factors, I can’t tell you how much I love being in the city. It’s chaos, but I LOVE it….my usual run down is as follows…..
1. Wake up and hit some fabulous brunch with friends (I eat my way through the city, but it’s all good cause I walk off the calories). 2. Meet with vendors and/or boutiques and shoot new looks or products 3. Hit SOHO or 5th avenue for some shopping, collection viewing and to get inspired by local street style 4. late late lunch which usually means a great cup of tea and a dessert (cornuts, levain cookies or any other new fabulous “must try” city treat/trend) 5. relax and change for evening 6. Dinner and a hell of a time Yes, It’s true that I get very little sleep there, but honestly, I don’t mind it too much. It allows to hit my flight home feeling exhausted. Which means the trip home won’t feel as long (good news for my A.D.D). Then I am all refreshed to see my babies. So there you have it…a loose version of my NYC routine! How do you spend your days in NYC?? More importantly what do you eat?! XO Photos by Antonella at www.antonellaalberti.comA Long Weekend in NYC

June 4, 2014 at 11:19 amI was in NYC over the long weekend as well with some girlfriends for a bachelorette. We had a blast eating, sightseeing and drinking in some local pubs.
The food in New York is amazing! We of course had to try Shake Shack, STK for a lovely dinner, and The Russian Tea Room.
