Georgine Fall 2014
Georgine Fall 2014 offered so much wearable glamour. With many separates and dresses, these pieces were functional, but not casual. Beautiful side swept curls and bold lips seemed to be echoing memories of studio 54 or a costal drive in along the French Riviera in a retro convertible. Someone needs to take these models out quick! I was gaga over the leather gloves with pops of bold color and the two tone cashmere pieces. If you love glam you’ll love Georgine.
Meskita Fall 2014
Meanwile in the dip died ponytail and neoprene world of Meskita Fall 2014, things were looking reaaaaally groovy. This being her debut at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Alessandra Meskita did not disapoint. Her designs are influenced by her flavorful upbringing in Brazil. This collection was specifically inspired by the 100th anniversary of Beverly Hills, the year of the horse. Which explains the long dip died pony tails and runway music with random horse neighs and whip cracks. This collection is for the girl with the jet-setter life style that still wants to look good. “Excuse me flight attendant, could I get an extra blanket?? I’m not used flying in a leotard.”
