Helmut Lang Austere Turtleneck Sweater Zara Midrise Skinny Ripped Jeans TandJ Designs 18 Karat Pave Spike Bracelet Sole Society Wool Fedora (similar Style)
I was discussing turtlenecks with some of my girlfriends the other day and we came to the conclusion that half of us feel very trapped and strangled in them and the other half feels cozier than ever. It’s pretty funny how people’s perspectives vary so much (good lesson in judgement there). Me, I am absolutely the cozy in a turtleneck type! If Steve Jobs could flow creatively and create masterpieces in them everyday, then the rest of us should at least be able to do normal people things in them, right?
Because I live for my collection of turtlenecks, I was thrilled when they started to slowly creep back in a couple of fall season’s ago. I received this Helmut Lang off white turtleneck for Christmas this year and I am already wearing it weekly. The boxy shape and side slits (don’t show too much) give the classic turtle neck sweater a modern edge that is so chic. My favorite pieces are classics with an edgy flare to them….which I why I always preach all things Vince. Regardless of the brand, a GREAT sweater(s) in any wardrobe is a must!

January 26, 2015 at 12:52 pmI love turtlenecks, but I also know so many people who feel completely suffocated by them haha. Seems like a 50/50 split! This one is beautiful. Great colour and I love the looser fit. Those jeans look awesome with it, too.
