Ever since a friend told me about this NYC joint a couple years ago, I have been itching to go. Luckily I was able to hit this spot hidden in Grand Central Station Last April. It was 1920s mogul John Campbell’s office and still holds all of it’s charm. It’s sort of a mystery considering it’s very dark inside, tucked away and they don’t allow photography. The richness is adorned with extensive woodwork and lead windows. It still very much holds true to the time and themes of the roaring twenty…I swear I could hear the echos of model T’s horns and flappers beads outside the heavy windows. I live for a fashionable gimmick, so of course I pulled out one of my favorite vintage hats and leather gloves. After mocktails, meeting friends and appetizers I decided to stoll around the famous grand central station terminal. Who knew a train station had so much to offer. NYC never ceases to make me smile.
