Some of my best outfits have really affordable pieces incorporated in them.  I think I will always stand by my words when I say, If  you have a nice bag and or shoes, you can pull off VERY afforable items from almost any retailer…..yes, that includes target or forever21!  Obviously you have to be smart about the pieces you are picking, but if the balance is right, then it can be magic.  I am really not a snob when it comes to clothes.  I am not above any Store or designer….if I love it, I wear it.  Which is exactly why we need save AND splurge pieces.  So go ahead and tell yourself that next time you’re at Barneys….Todd knows I do! (Tod is in Lieu of God, so there is no taking the lord’s name in vain..I learned it from by best gal Christie OMT )

  3. I completely agree with you on this post. I do have some designer labels but I mix in with other non designers that I like. Thank you for showing us splurge vs save. I loved this post!
