Since fall is upon us, I dressed the perfect summer resort ruffle top it up with some wide leg trousers and a vintage scarf. This makes the top more transitional. Ruffle Trend

For the past year or more, we have seen beautiful giraffe like models sashay down the runways in flirtatious ruffles. It’s been a nice contrast considering a streamlined, long and lean look is always in style. I love romantic ruffles on dresses, tops and just about anything else. There is something innocent and child like about them.

South Of France in the Air

White ruffles are a double win! They remind me of summertime in Cannes or Portofino. When it comes to style and design, I am constantly trying to recreate the south of France. When discussing my new home with my interior designer friend, I told her that I just want to wake up everyday and feel like I am in San Tropez….lol. Although Utah is extremely beautiful, I am afraid we are landlocked! Anytime I can dream I am near the rich blue waters of the mediterranean, I’ll take it! This is one of the reasons why I am crazy about this white ruffle top by Caroline Constas. She’s a resort wear goddess!
