You know those people who wear too many animal prints…all at once?? I’ve got this larger than life TV or movie character in mind and I can’t quite put my finger on her. Hmmmmmm….oh yes, as I tried to figure it out a flashback of Claire’s mom on Troop Beverly Hills came rushing in! You know, that over the top romance novelist who was always talking sexy time into her tape recorder?! Well, as much as I love the over the top fashion in Troop Beverly hills, I am not trying to look like her. Ha!
This fashionable moment is one of those times where I feel strongly that leopard on leopard is more of a neutral. Thank you Ganni! Take a page from Jackie O’s book and rest assured that leopard IS the print that will always be in style.
There is a real fine line when it comes to leopard prints. Sometimes you can’t quite tell if it’s trashy or classy, right? Even though many consider it a trend, it has absolutely withstood the test of time.
This Ganni leopard Georgette ruffle top is such a fun statement piece that could easily be worn with jeans or skinny leather pants. As a true sucker for co-ords, I paired it with the matching Ganni Leopard Georgette skirt. Anytime I wear my Balmain Club Lace up booties, the compliments pour in. Not the I need them so much, but it certainly doesn’t hurt.
As you can see I paired my leopard on leopard with these amazing Tom Ford Square sunnies! My husband brought these back from a trip and I wear them constantly. On Tomford.com they are priced around $460.00 I found them on this little website called Amazon.com for just over $200.00! You’re welcome!
The print that will always be in style can be easily passed on from generation to generation. I love vintage clothing (as long as it smells fresh), so I’d be thrilled to get a piece of my grandmother’s leopard.
Talk about vintage…see how I styled this other awesome Leopard piece in a post from the earliest days of The Fashion Fuse.
Have a great weekend and be safe! I think I am gonna try to take the kiddos to a haunted house this weekend! Wish me luck.
