The things that matter (family interview with Blickentstaffs)
Because I am not the only player in my personal life, I normally don’t share too much about it. When Blickenstaffs graciously offered this interview I thought it would be an appropriate outlet to share what matters most to me. As a single mom, I think it’s important to share my story to help encourage others who may be dealing with some of the same hardships. I know I have learned so much from other people sharing their experiences.
“At our best we are all teachers”
-Maya Angelou
I am a visual/creative person, so my life may look athetically beautiful on this blog, but it’s not perfect. There is a fine line between sharing beautiful fashion/travel photos and reality. I think a lot of bloggers (especially in fashion) struggle with this balance. I know I do! More often than not, I am in workout clothes and no makeup. Don’t get me wrong, no one loves an excuse to get gussied up more than I do…..But, at the end of the day, here is what matters most to me….
